Graduate Research Assistant at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA

I am working in the University of Nebraska Lincoln as a RA under Prof. Troy E. Gilmore, where I work on advancing the use of artificial intelligence and computer vision for environmental and agricultural applications. My research focuses on developing GRIME-AI, an open-source software platform that enables scientists and practitioners to extract actionable information from ground-based imagery. This involves creating scalable workflows for segmentation of water and vegetation, as well as tagging wildlife activity, to support ecohydrological studies and smart agriculture. In this role, I collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, contribute to open-source development, and pursue solutions that bridge cutting-edge AI with practical challenges in natural resource management.

Graduate Research Assistant at Utah Water Research Laboratory, USA

I previously worked as a Research Assistant at the Utah Water Research Laboratory (UWRL) under the supervision of Prof. Sierra N. Young during my master’s studies at Utah State University. As part of my program, I was also affiliated with the Daisy Lab, where I continued my research under Dr. Young’s guidance. My work focused on advancing intelligent water technologies through the integration of artificial intelligence and computer vision to improve monitoring and management of water resources.

Lynkeus harnesses computer vision to turn videos into actionable assets by extracting data from the images and motions happening within. Actions and patterns detected within the images are then used as context for business use. This data is then processed on our fully automated AI-powered platform to glean marketing, merchandising, distribution, and analytical insights that businesses can use. Additionally, the extracted data is cataloged in an easily searchable way and can be repurposed later.

Educator & Team Supervisor of Kibo Robot Programming Challenge at STEMX365 (Volunteery)

Kibo Robot Programming Challenge is a programming challenge for Astrobee Robot which is situated inside the ISS. It is organized by JAXA(Japan Space Agency) in a collaboration with MIT Zero Robotics Lab. STEMX365 is working for involving Bangladeshi students to attend this competition. My role as an educator is to supervise the Bangladeshi teams in the preliminary round as well as the final round.

www.vendy.ltd is the next generation IOT based manufacturing company. It is an initiative to develop a complete Vending Machine Eco System locally to enable the local business entities to deliver necessary and beneficial products through vending machines into its community. MFS (mobile financial service) based payment mechanism, IoT enabled electronic buildup and software-driven systems to make Vendy a smarter, affordable and efficient vending machine for the local market.For instance, in the garments, workplaces women don’t have emergency access to hygienic products. Also, the old-school vending machine system is not always helpful due to coins or changes issue. In Bangladesh, the usages of Coins are not popular whereas the mobile payment system has widely been adopted. Hence, Vendy is the initiative to mitigate the gap to enable the entrepreneur to offer a product to consumers' doorsteps throughout 24/7.

Team Lead of BRACU Mongol-Tori

BRACU Mongol Tori Revolution is a multidisciplinary team formed by a group of enthusiastic students of BRAC University. The rover is a fully functional, stand-alone mobile platform which is capable of acting as an astronaut assistant in various servicing and scientific research task. This year marks the third major update in the Mongol Tori lineup with numerous minor changes along the way. The major updates in the current version of the rover includes rover expansion system, switching from six wheeler to four wheeler design, reconstruction of the entire arm, portable command station and significant reduction in size and weight.

I was the software developer of CANSat project organized by NASTER Lab, Nano Satellite Ground Station, BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. My job was to develop a software with GUI(Graphical User Interface) for controlling the CANSat , receiving data from the satellite through telemetry system & processing live video feed in the ground station.
